City Expands Program to Replace Private Lead Water Lines

On October 9, 2024, New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced the expansion of the lead service line replacement program. Through this free program, the City will cover the replacement of privately-owned water service lines, made of lead or galvanized steel, at eligible properties in the Bronx and Queens. NYCHA Secures Funding for Frederick Samuel Apartments Renovations

On September 26, 2024, the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) announced renovations will be conducted at the Frederick Samuel Apartments through the Permanent Affordability Commitment Together (PACT) project. Since, 1994 the New York City Housing Authority has managed the Frederick Samuel Apartments, which were constructed between 1910 and 1928. DOT Announces Highway Work Zone Camera Enforcement Program

On September 26, 2024, New York City Department of Transportation Commissioner Ydanis Rodriguez announced the implementation of a camera enforcement program to monitor the speed of vehicles in select highway work zones. The program, launched in collaboration with the New York State Department of Transportation, only affects construction or maintenance zones on New York State-controlled access highways and parkways.


City Announces Award of $260 Million in Federal Grants for Brooklyn Marine Terminal, Inwood Greenway Expansion
