Officials Break Ground on New Affordable, Supportive, and Transitional Housing in East New York
On December 14, 2022, Mayor Eric Adams and Governor Kathy Hochul announced the start of construction of Logan Fountain, a new mixed-use development in East New York that will bring affordable, supportive transitional housing and retail space to the site of a defunct gas station. The new development will be located at 265 Logan Street.

Landmarks Votes to Designate Samuel Gompers Industrial High School as Individual Landmark
On December 6, 2022, the Landmarks Preservation Commission voted to designate the Samuel Gompers Industrial High School as an individual landmark.
