DDC Celebrates Renovation of Mark A. Constantino Judicial Center in Staten Island

On February 25, 2025, New York City Department of Design and Construction Commissioner Thomas Foley and Department of Citywide Administrative Services Commissioner Louis A. Molina announced the completion of the Mark A. Constantino Judicial Center located in Staten Island. The project cost the City $10.7 million and was managed by the Department of Design and Construction on behalf of the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services.


DDC Celebrates Completion of Reade Street Sidewalk Vault Restoration

On January 21, 2025, Commissioner Thomas Foley of the New York City Department of Design and Construction announced the completion of the reconstruction and stabilization of a two-story high underground sidewalk vault located at 22 Reade Street. This $5.7 million project was managed by the City Department of Design and Construction for the City Department of Citywide Administrative Service through using the Construction Manager-Build (CM-Build) contracting method.

DDC Celebrates Completion of Repairs of Laurelton Library

On October 9, 2024, Queens Public Library President Dennis M. Walcott and NYC Department of Design and Construction (DDC) Commissioner Thomas Foley celebrated the re-opening of the Laurelton Library. The library was closed to make necessary repairs. This $1.8 million project was completed under the budgeted amount, saving over $160,000. The one-story Laurelton Library is located at 134-26 225th Street and originally opened in 1955.
